How to: Summer Styles
This summer the stars are turning up the heat with these warm weather cut, color and style trends.
For the days Vanessa Hudgens wants to have a shorter bob, she goes for the faux bob instead of making the commitment of cutting. Vanessa loves this look and wears it differently every time. Have fun with different textures by switching between straight and curly. In this look, Vanessa has a softer curl with a center part to give a more elegant feel to the faux bob. To create this look, first decide how much curl or wave you would like to see. For a softer look, take larger (four-inch) sections with a larger curling iron. For a curlier look, use a medium size curling iron and take smaller (one and a half-inch) sections. Once all hair is curled, take hair in a loose, low ponytail at the center-back of your neck letting pieces fall out toward the face for a longer look. Take hair right above ponytail and turn in toward scalp and secure in place with bobby pins. Finish by loosening hair to desired volume and length.
Selena Gomez is rocking one of the hottest looks right now. This side braid is not only easy to do but is extremely versatile. This look can be worn for a casual or elegant feel. To create this chic braid, start by loosely combing hair over to one side, take hair into three sections and braid strands going toward the front of your shoulder. To give this look versatility, start with different textures of hair: straight, wavy, or curly. Also, try backcombing all three sections before loosely braiding hair or pulling hair outward lightly once braided to give more volume and separation.
