Day In Scottsdale

watch video

Welcome to Scottsdale, Arizona, the Valley of the Sun. Once the home of the Hohokam and Pima Indians, Scottsdale is an ancient place with vestiges of its past etched dramatically into the landscape. These vistas, desert mesas and wide expanses frame Scottsdale’s big city vibe and opulent swagger, but also lend an unmistakably magical vibe. Located in the northern reaches of the Sonoran Desert and nestled next to the majestic McDowell Mountains, this is an excellent basecamp for your Arizona getaway.

This town is an oasis that literally shimmers in the Sonoran sun. It beckons and invites visitors to savor the unlimited poolside sun, four star dining, picture perfect golf courses, and magnificent resorts. Simply stated, the town is a haven for family vacations, couples getaways or anyone looking to have a good time, eat well, play hard, and relax.

Shopping in Scottsdale is revered by locals and visitors as almost mythic experience. The entire valley is dense with sun-drenched promenades and upscale fashion centers featuring a mix of who’s who International retail and exclusive local treasures. So, be sure to bring an extra suitcase to cart home the loot.

We started early to catch the sunrise from a hot air balloon above the Sonora, visited Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural masterpiece, Taliesin West, made friends with Arizona racing legend Bob Bondurant and dined with some of Arizona’s most influential culinary wizards.

We experienced the beautiful Botanical Gardens and chilled poolside at one of their most beautiful resorts.

And now, we invite you to relive it all with us.

Come along as we go from a spectacular Sonoran sunrise to a breathtakingly beautiful desert sunset with as much fun and excitement as we could fit in between.

So grab a hat, dress lightly, bring plenty of H20 and don’t forget the sunscreen,

Welcome to Scottsdale…In a Day.
