Coconut Oil Broccoli Recipe

When was the last time you made broccoli and had it described as “dessert broccoli” or “cookie broccoli?” Unless you used this recipe, probably never.

And actually, had you previously told us that our taste buds would form an obsession with broccoli that had almost a sweet taste to it, we would have though you were crazy…but we would have been wrong. So very, very wrong.

If you have husbands, kids, etc., that you can’t get to eat their greens, we’re 90% sure this can change that. And with protein, fiber, and tons of vitamin C, broccoli is one of the best greens to eat. And don’t even get us started on our love for coconut oil…


Broccoli + Coconut Oil: for every 1 head of broccoli, use 1 TBSP of coconut oil.
Optional: garlic salt + pepper

-Preheat oven to 425.
-Cut broccoli into stems. (If rinsing your broccoli, dry it throughly!)
-Melt coconut oil and pour over broccoli. Mix well. (OPTIONAL: add garlic salt and pepper to taste.)
-Roast for 20-25 minutes, until broccoli is tender and some edges are browned.

Serve and watch people’s facial expressions as their taste buds do a happy dance, and enjoy the adjectives they come up with to describe what they’re feeling.
