Born and raised in Whittier, California, Adrienne Janic has always been a natural entertainer. After graduating college, the brunette stunner landed a contract with FORD modeling agency in Los Angeles and eventually graced the covers and pages of magazines such as Shape, Maxim, and Cosmopolitan. She was part of many national print advertisements including a stint as one of the original Fanta Girls and she also strutted the catwalk for designers such as Calvin Klein, Richard Tyler, and Alan del Rosario.
As an actress, Adrienne has appeared in a number of films and television series including Las Vegas, House, The Jamie Kennedy Experiment, and Kitchen Confidential, however she is best known as “AJ” from the popular series, Overhaulin’.
Adrienne will be the new host of VERIA Living Network series, Fit, Famous & Fabulous - A magazine format show that offers a sneak peek into a celebrity’s life when they are not working. It showcases their fitness, diet and beauty secrets while hanging out with Adrienne at their favorite haunts.
Adrienne is married to television producer Bud W. Brutsman, and together they have a four-year-old son, Deuce.
“I truly love being a mom. It’s the hardest job in the world, but it’s also the most rewarding. It has also taught me patience, to slow down, to schedule time with friends and family, and to enjoy the simple things in life.”
To stay in shape, Adrienne drops off her son at school and goes straight to the gym for cardio ballet or her new favorite, burlesque dancing. Her beauty regime starts with a good night’s sleep and as far as eating right despite a busy schedule, she keeps only healthy snacks in the house and in her bag including fresh fruit, healthy snack bars, roasted nuts, and prepared protein drinks.
When asked how she likes being a mother and how she juggles work with family, Adrienne replied, “I truly love being a mom. It’s the hardest job in the world, but it’s also the most rewarding. It has also taught me patience, to slow down, to schedule time with friends and family, and to enjoy the simple things in life.”
She continued, “as far as multi-tasking and balancing everything, it all comes down to planning for the day ahead on the evening before. The last thing you want to be is completely stressed out in the morning as it sets the tone for the day. Children feed off the energy of their parents so being calm, organized and stress-free is a great way to start the day.”
When asked how she deals with the stress of such a busy lifestyle, Adrienne responded, “It’s very strange this thing called stress. Sometimes I want to cry, but other times, stress motivates me and drives me. But one thing that does make it all better is my son. Everything I do is for him! Knowing that, makes all the stress of being a working mom go away!”
