The vision and creation of famed photographer, Darren Tieste, The Beauty Book is a photographic compilation of the biggest celebrities, musicians and top models with the mission to raise awareness and bring support to those with brain cancer. 100% of the proceeds from the book will go to the prevention and treatment of brain cancer. Specifically, The Beauty Book benefits the Sydney Neurology Oncology Group (SNOG) and HEADRUSH, a volunteer-run, grass roots organization based in Madison, Wisconsin whose mission is to significantly improve the future of brain tumor research, treatment, and survivorship.
Tieste’s inspiration for the book came after he lost a dear friend to brain cancer in 2008. She was only 35 years old. Combining his talent with the outpouring of love and support from A-list celebrities like cover girl Scarlett Johansson, Brooklyn Decker, Paris Hilton and Nicole Scherzinger, the concept for The Beauty Book was born.
Although procuring some of the busiest names in Hollywood was no easy feat, the payoff was well worth the struggle.
