The Art of Nails

The art of painting nails has been around since the early 1920′s when women used to paint their nails with creams, oils and even powder.  In the 1930s, a team of brothers invented a variety of nail colors that we know of today as the Revlon Company. A few years later, Max Factor would begin to create several dark colors designed to cover the entire nail. Thus a new era was born by defining a cultural phenomenon of women and the products they use to care for both their hands and feet in a whole new light.

Today with Pinterest in full force and Instagram highlighting all parts of one’s life… its no wonder that a girl’s favorite pastime is being embraced across the web in anything but Technicolor.
