Who is R.M. Drake?

In honor of our weekly Wise Words Wednesday post, we’ve decided to take a closer look into a particular quote-ologist who is killing it right now.

First we noticed celebs posting his quotes on Instagram, and now the rest of the world has caught on. You can’t go on Pinterest or Instagram without seeing his name, so who is R.M. Drake?

It wasn’t easy to find info on this elusive writer. First we found his Etsy where you can buy his writings, and art prints of his work. His books include Beautiful Chaos, Science: The Starts in Me are the Starts in You, and Spaceship: A Collection of Words for the Misunderstood. It is here that he describes himself there as “A writer, sculptor, painter, over all dreamer. I want to change your world, make it better. So let me try.”

The only other info we found was an interview with Supperclub Eyewear.

He explained why he often writes about love…
“I said once “but dear do not fear love its only magic.” think about that one for a second. Magic is not real, but we choose to make it real if we choose to believe in it. So in a way love has always inspired me to write. Love is all we have and in the end.”

And why he thinks his writings are so popular…
“I think because its raw and truthful. A lot of people tell me “you write like you’re talking to me” well I am YOU. I am everyone. We are so blind to the fact that we are all connected in a way we can’t even begin to understand.”
