Pineresting: Summer Nails

It was a tough job but someone had to do it; we’ve rounded up the best summer nail looks on Pinterest so you don’t have to! Toes in the sand, tropical drink at the ready, these vibrant nail looks have us on a serious summer countdown.

PINTERESTING_SUMMER_NAILS

Bright Blue: This electric cobalt blue has it all; simple, incredibly vivid and fun, but not too off the walls. Dazzling Blue updates dark nails for summer and compliments most skin-tones. Dazzling Blue has been named Pantone’s 2014 Color of Spring, so get ready to see it exploding off the shelves.

Tropical Color Blocking: Color blocking isn’t just for clothes, nails are in on this season’s hottest color trend too! Tropical melon and yellow hues liven up the look and keep it looking fresh. Bonus: This color looks great against a tan and makes it pop!

Creamy Mint: This season’s most popular shade is an obvious choice. Everyone from Lauren Conrad to Beyonce is rocking this feminine but not-too-girly hue. Perfect for a music festival, day at the beach, or the boardroom, we don’t see this universally flattering hue going away anytime soon.

Aztec/Tribal: Intimidated by nail art and exotic patterns? Don’t be. Tribal Aztec print can be as subdued (or not!) as the occasion calls for. Keep the print contained to one accent nail as shown if you’re easing in, or paint every nail for a dramatic effect.

Bright White: Nothing says “summertime-chic” like a clean white manicure. White looks crisp, goes with everything, and (best of all!) looks smokin’ against a glow-y summer tan.
