If we hadn’t already visited Nashville’s Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, we’d be on our way next month for their newest exhibition, Miranda Lambert: Backstage Access.
The exhibition, which runs from May 16th to November 9th, is exploring a year in the life of the Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter. Costumes, gowns, awards, and even personal Tweets will take you on a unique walk through Miranda’s 2013 journey.
Call us hasty, but we’re eager to see which of Miranda’s duds they’re putting on display. So we decided to play museum curator and take a few guesses by picking some of what we consider ML’s most notable fashion moments of 2013…
Ah, the infamous Ani & Ari flame corset! Miranda performed in this little number at LP Field for the 2013 CMA Music Fest. There’s no way they would leave this baby out of the exhibition!
Here’s Miranda looking anything but blue at the 2013 CMA Awards. This was one of her first public appearances after her dramatic weight loss, and we can probably all agree she kills it in this vibrant Roberto Cavalli gown.
Miranda performed in this dress at the 2013 Grammy Awards, and we think it would perform well at the exhibition. We want a spotlight on this baby so we can watch it sparkle!
Miranda broke it down in this lacy blue number in her ‘Mama’s Broken Heart’ music video, and our hearts will be broken if it’s not on display!
Okay, okay! We realize there’s nothing sparkly or incredibly noteworthy about this dress Miranda wore to the 2013 ACM Awards…besides for the fact that we were on edge whenever she was on screen, afraid that her, ahem, “girls” were going to fall out. But after taking home Female Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year, and Single Record of the Year that night, we think she could’ve gotten away with it.
