Kimberly Guilfoyle is a classic case of beauty meets brains. Her resume boasts Fox news anchor, author, former Bay area prosecutor, actress, and model–and not just any model, we’re talking Victoria’s Secret model. Can you say full package?
We were able to snag the busy anchor for some one-on-one time, and though she’s clearly more than able to hold an intelligent and meaningful conversation on just about any subject, we beauty-lovers couldn’t help but notice how strong Guilfoyle’s beauty game was, thus we choose the superficial route. So keep reading to see how Kimberly keeps her skin and makeup on-point both on and off camera, and tune in to see the proof as she hosts Fox News’ NYE coverage this Thursday from 10 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. ET.
You’d be surprised to know…
Whenever I have a moment to myself – which is rare – I love to relax with a bubble bath. I really love the Laura Mercier Creme Brûlée Honey Bath. It’s so relaxing, super moisturizing, and the scent is delicious!
Cannot live without my…
Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler. Everyone knows I love lashes, and this make-up artist must-have keeps my lashes curled from AM to PM.
I feel most beautiful when….
My son Ronan tells me I’m pretty after a long day on set!
My most cherished beauty secret is…
To moisturize! My mother, Mercedes, always loved to take care of her skin and passed her secrets onto me. She loved to use the soap, lotions and powders from Spain called Maja. The products are so beautiful, make my skin so soft, and remind me of her every time I use them.
My daily skin care routine includes….
Natura Bisse skincare. Because I spend so much time in front of the camera, using the best skincare is so important for my skin, and for creating the perfect canvas for my makeup. I love the Oxygen Mousse to really deep clean my skin gently. Then I use the C+C Vitamin Splash to tone and prepare for the moisturizer. Depending on how my skin feels, I use either the NB – Ceutical Rosa Mosqueta Oil to really hydrate and soften my skin, or the Oxygen Creme if I have to get on a flight.
I also love The Cure Creme which is perfect for a daily use moisturizer– makeup glides over it so smoothly. My eyes can get sensitive, so I often use the NB – Ceutical Eye Recovery Balm under concealer for both on and off the set. Throughout the day, I mist my face with The Diamond Mist to keep my skin hydrated and fresh.
Lately I’ve been obsessed with…
Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Lipsticks. They are so rich in texture, hydrating, and last all day. I love the shade called “Powerful”. It’s the perfect pink, and the perfect name!
What’s in my purse…
I am constantly on the move and need to bring my makeup bag with me to touch up on the go. My must haves include:
Mac Studio Fix Powder Foundation to touch up and reduce any shine. Cle de Peau Concealer which covers anything and stays put. Nars Powder Blush in “Desire” adds the perfect pop of color.
Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Bronzing Powder.
Tom Ford Eyeshadow Quad in “Orchid Haze” which creates the perfect smoky eye.
L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black. A great drugstore find! Every television makeup artist uses this to create clump-free lashes.
Chanel Stylo Yeux Eye Liner Pencil in Espresso. It’s waterproof, self sharpening and super long wearing – my dream eye pencil.
For Lips, it depends on my mood or what I am wearing. I love my Chanel Glossimer in “Spark” and “Blizzard” which are classics; my Estee Lauder Pure Envy Lipsticks; and either Mac Lipliner in “Subculture ” or Chanel “Nude”. Both of those lip liners really go with any color.
For a day off I love the Revlon Lip Lacquer Balm in “Demure”. And I always use Aquaphor by Eucerin to keep my lips extra moist and it’s great on skin too!
My Caudalie Hand and Nail Creme.
I always have my mini Mason Pearson Hairbrush, and travel size L’Oreal Elnett Hair Spray just in case!
I’m most excited about…
Enjoying my holidays with family and friends, and spending New Year’s with America! I also plan on a relaxing manicure and pedicure to ring in 2016 beautifully. I love Essie Nail Polish, and “Mademoiselle” is a classic neutral that goes with anything.
