Get the Look: Celebrity Wedding Rings

Ah, who wants to be a celeb?

Could you handle the wealth, the adulation, the paparazzi, the red carpet events, the free clothing and jewelry, and the opportunity to rub elbows with other rich, famous, and beautiful individuals. Guess that is a decision that everyone must answer for themselves; however, it is probably safe to say that most people could “suffer” through such difficulties.

Although we may not have it in us to live like a celebrity every day of our lives, our wedding is one day where we should definitely shoot for the stars. And there is very good reason why celebrities are referred to as “stars.” You may not have the wherewithal to afford everything associated with what a celebrity wears on their wedding day or their wedding rings,  but that doesn’t mean that you can’t get the celebrity wedding look for a price well within your budget.

Kate Middleton and Prince William: It may not have been that recent but it is recent enough and will definitely live on for the rest of time – a royal wedding. OK, chances are you can’t afford an 18 carat sapphire and diamond engagement ring that Prince William placed on Kate Middleton’s finger but a smaller sapphire surrounded by diamonds or perhaps substituting aquamarine or tanzanite for the sapphire will still leave you feeling like a princess on your wedding day.

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake: Anything worth doing is worth doing on multiple occasions. Four days of wedding celebrations to coincide with the four stackable wedding rings that Justin presented Jessica. That was on top of her 18 carat Leor Yerushalmi engagement ring. Two of the wedding bands are white gold with a black rhodium finish with diamonds set all the way around. The other two are yellow gold with a hammer finish. All are the same diameter. The bands are relatively easy to replicate and are quite affordable. The engagement ring featured two aquamarines on either side of a large square center diamond surrounded by round diamonds. Smaller diamonds and bigger aquamarines are a more budget conscious but not necessarily less striking option.

Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied: Classy and considerate are two words often associated with Natalie Portman and so that theme continued at her wedding. Her engagement ring was made from recycled platinum with an antique diamond and conflict free diamonds. Portman’s wedding rings also contained recycled platinum and conflict free diamonds. Do you have any themes that are important to you that you’d like to incorporate to your rings?

Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger: A little unconventional yet if a Goth wedding appeals to you there is no need to raid the blood bank to fulfill your fantasies. Their Goth-inspired wedding in a French chalet featured plenty of black including a black dress and black flowers. This is not beyond the realm of most of us but her $350,000 USD 14 carat pear shaped diamond engagement ring may have been. However, although Avril’s ring uses colorless diamonds, you could go for fancy black diamonds; the must –have red carpet accessory that is cheaper than comparable colorless diamonds.
