We’ve seen all kinds of eyeliner replacements on runways over the years- chunky glitter, strips of leather, even swipes of lipsticks, many of these daring looks conceptualized by Peter Phillips, creative and image director of Dior. But it’s Peter’s idea for the Fall-Winter 2014-2015 Dior Haute Couture Show that has made its way to Dior’s shelves- introducing “Mirror Eyes.”
What Dior describes as “a mix of couture and vision genius,” these reusable mirrored eyeliner stickers are on a whole other trend level that we’ll call futuristic whimsy.
Bright and alluring, these stickers speak for themselves. To let them do the talking, Dior paired them with a super natural look elsewhere: a fresh complexion, pale blush, nude lips and nails, and hair free-falling around the shoulders. Let’s just say if Judy Jetson went through a hippy phase, we’re pretty sure she would wear Mirror Eyes.
