DIY Coffee & Coconut Body Scrub

Coffee. It’s the reason most of us get out of bed in the mornings. Myself in particular, as I l-o-v-e coffee. It’s my biggest vice in life, but I’m okay with that. I love the smell of coffee, the look of coffee, exploring coffee shops, etc. While most people see it as a chore, I get excited to get up every morning and make the first cup of the day. Yes, if I had to pick a best friend, coffee would be it.

It goes without saying that when I came across the idea of creating a body scrub using coffee grounds, I knew I had jump on it and share it with the world. This body scrub uses only 4 natural ingredients -coffee grounds, coconut oil, coconut palm sugar and ground cinnamon- all which have their body benefits… Coffee: Rich in antioxidants, coffee helps the smooth and firm skin, helping to make cellulite less visible. Coconut Oil: A fabulous natural beauty ingredient that is full of vitamins and minerals. Coconut Palm Sugar: A natural exfoliant that is excellent for removing dead skin cells. Cinnamon: Helps clear the skin of bacteria and smooth fine lines. So without further adieu, here’s how it’s done…

Ingredients 1/2 cup of ground coffee 1/2 cup of coconut palm sugar 1/4 cup of coconut oil 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon Directions 1. Mix all the ingredients together until well-combined. 2. Store it in an airtight container. 3. Attempt not to eat it because it smells so good (although it’s all-natural, so if you really wanted to, you could). Hope you enjoy this as much as I do!
