Let’s talk about ice cream. Let’s talk about how much we LOVE ice cream, and how bad we feel every time we eat it. It’s pretty obvious why ice cream is not very good for us. Cream, Sugar… more cream… more sugar. That’s why we also love fro yo. But going to your local yogurt shop can leave you wondering, what am I really eating? I don’t know if I have ever seen the ingredients but I am sure there are a few preservatives in there. The best part about these frozen treats? You can make them at home! Greek yogurt is the best yogurt for you and adding some cocoa powder, a little sugar and milk makes it the creamiest, most delicious frozen treat you could ask for! I was shocked at how tasty it was and think you should make it as soon as possible. First get your ingredients together.
1. Heat up milk and add cocoa and sugar.
2. Then add that mixture to your Banana Greek Yogurt.
3. Toss that into an ice cream maker for 15 minutes!
-1/3 cup cocoa powder
– ½ cup sugar
– ¼ cup milk (any kind)
– 2 cups Banana Greek Yogurt
Heat milk in microwave for 1 minute. Add sugar and cocoa and blend until dissolved. In a medium bowl, add Banana Greek Yogurt and whisk until smooth. Add chocolate mixture and blend until combined. Add to ice cream maker and blend for 15 minutes. If you would like it to harden more, store in the freezer in an airtight container. Serve solo or with your choice of toppings!
