Urinary tract infections are the worst. If you’ve ever had one (and it’s likely you have), you know what we’re talking about. They can be completely debilitating, and even fatal if not treated. According to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, UTIs account for about 8.1 million visits to health care providers each year, and are the second most common type of infection in the body! Ugh.
