The 2 Step RX for Crazy Glow-y Skin

As much as we love winter and getting to break in a new pair of Frye’s, something we never welcome with the change of seasons is drier skin and a serious drop in radiance. As the temperatures drop, our skin suffers by slowing down cell turnover, resulting in dull, blah skin. Luckily you don’t need to drop hundreds at Sephora to be mistaken for Megan Fox’s fresh faced sister. Here’s the magic (and super simple) skincare cocktail that will up the dew factor: an exfoliating peel followed by a facial oil or serum. That’s it!

The 2 products work synergistically – the peel sloughs off the dead skin cells that contribute to a dull complexion and help the moisture from the serum penetrate the skin at a deeper level. At home peels may sound scary, but they are much gentler than they sound and are your number one ally in revealing brighter skin. They also help shrink pore size, fine lines, and create a better canvas for flawless makeup application.

After you apply your peel (we like Perricone MD Blue Plasma), simply follow with a serum or oil of your choice. Try one with Vitamin C and anti-oxidants to look extra-lit-from-within. Our current faves are Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Vitamin C Collagen Booster and Skin Owl Beauty Drops.
